8th South Farm Showcase
MU South Farm Research Center
Saturday, September 27, 2014, 10 am – 4 pm
Each year, the University of Missouri (MU) South Farm Research Center (east of AC/Grindstone Exit off Hwy 63) hosts a day of science and discovery, free for all ages, on September 27 from 10 am-4 pm (rain or shine). Enjoy the fish and wildlife exhibit, drone demonstration, tomato and wine tastings (adults), mule rides, trained hawks, and more (see list below)! There will be live music and food and ice cream for purchase, a foal parade, and kids will love catching insects with MU experts. The day also offers opportunities to learn about forestry, energy saving and fire safety. Bring a sample from your lawn/garden for a $15 soil health analysis. For more info, visit the South Farm website.
