9:00 am & 10 am start times: How to Train Your Dragon (2010) [PG] – Forum 8, 1209 Forum Katy Pkwy, Columbia MO 652039:30am – 11:30am: (drop in) Lego Land (ages 5+) (Children’s Program Rm) – Columbia Public Library, 100 W Broadway, Columbia MO 65203. Stop in and play with LEGOs!
9:30am – 12:00pm: (register) (10am hike) Three Creeks Color Hike (see notes–carpool from Stephens Lake Park) – Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, Columbia MO. Carpool from Stephens Lake Lower Parking lot (off of Old 63) at 9:30 or meet at 10:00 at the south end parking lot of three creeks (take Hwy 63 south past the airport interchange and take a right on Minor Hill Road and another right on South Myers Lane to get the parking lot). The basic hike will be about 2 miles, with one hill to climb. Moderately easy basic hike along a well defined trail with a couple of creek crossings, with some possible side trips. If you are going, call Tom Lata at (573) 489-2302, so he knows to look for you.
10:00am – 11:30am: Home Depot Do-It-Yourself Workshop – The Home Depot, 3215 Clark Ln, Columbia MO 65202. The end of month Saturday and Sunday DIY workshops are often catered to what customers want or need (at least in Columbia). Call the store at 573-814-1900, and find out what is scheduled, or request the type of workshop you would like.

Fans of the ‘Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type’ series will love this new title destined to be a Halloween classic – Click, Clack, Boo!: A Tricky Treat. Halloween Storytime with fun-filled giveaways and activities.

2:00pm – 3:30pm: Meet the Artist – Suzanne Norton – Clovers Natural Market, 2012 E Broadway, Columbia MO. Note that this is at the East Broadway location. Find out more about Suzanne and her fabulous art! Show on view from Oct 6-Nov 16, 2014. Suzanne Norton is the featured artist in the new art space in the East Broadway Clovers store. Free snacks, intriguing art, a great environment, and a drawing with a prize. The mystery image will be revealed when the lucky winner’s name is drawn out of the basket. The artist will share her inspiration and process related to her unique photography series during this casual afternoon question and answer event.
